Donation Policies

Pet Food – YES PLEASE! From kibble to canned, puppy to senior, we’ll take it all. Our biggest need is adult dry dog kibble.

Open Bag – Not a problem. Be sure to seal any open spots or rips in the bag securely with duct tape so it does not spill during transport to the warehouse.

Not in Original Packaging? – We’ll still take it! Please put in large ziplock or trash bag. Tape information on the outside of the bag stating the brand and type of food that’s inside.

Frozen or Refrigerated Food – For these special circumstances, please reach out to info@coloradopetpantry.org.

Short-dated Pet Food – It is our policy to accept pet food that has exceeded its best-by date. To learn more about the specifics of this scenario, please email info@coloradopetpantry.org.

Large Donation – If you have a truckload or a car-load of pet food, the Colorado Pet Pantry prefers to work directly with you, rather than have you drop it off at Comedy Works. Please reach out to info@coloradopetpantry.org to coordinate the donation of this amazing gift.

Non-Food Items – If it’s pet related, we will accept it and put it to use. The Colorado Pet Pantry often bring beds, toys and other pet supplies to our open-to-the-public pet food pantries.

Non-Food Items – If you donate pet food to our organization, we will issue you a receipt. Please fill out this form, and we will issue you an official receipt right away.
