Kathleen Madigan is often regarded as the funniest female comic in America. Her Showtime special, Gone Madigan, is in constant rotation with the DVD-CD of the special topping Amazon and iTunes charts. She recently returned from her 2nd tour performing for the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. She has performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno about 10 times, The Late Show with David Letterman about 5 times, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and pretty much every other late show out there. She has recorded a 1 hour HBO special and both a 1 hour and a 1/2 special on Comedy Central. She has made appearances on The Dr. Phil Show, ESPN 2, VH1, CNN, E!, and CMT.
She won the American Comedy Award for "Best Female Comedian" and remains the only unchallenged comedian (meaning no other comic claimed to be funnier than her) in the history of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, on which she reached the finals in Season 2 and was a Talent Scout on Season 5. She has shared the stage with some of comedy’s biggest names and, although she’s been asked to write for many of them, she’s selectively chosen a few lucky comics to do so.
